Alex Rainow M.D. Joins SVH As Cardiopulmonary Medical Director

Alex Rainow, M.D. M.S., has joined Sonoma Valley Hospital as the Medical Director for the Cardiopulmonary Department, replacing James Price, MD, who has retired. Dr. Rainow will see patients at Cardiovascular Center of Marin -Sonoma Cardiology, still located at 558 Third Street West, Sonoma.

Dr. Rainow recently moved to the North Bay from Miami, Florida, where he served as a cardiologist at Heartwell LLP, which is part of Baptist Health. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College, did his residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Dartmouth Medical Center.

Also seeing patients at Cardiovascular Center of Marin -Sonoma Cardiology are Brian G. Keeffe, MD, FACC, and Mark P. Wexman, MD, FACC, leading cardiologists who are associated with Cardiovascular Center of Marin, a Marin Healthcare District Practice.  All partners of Cardiovascular Center of Marin are on the medical staff of Sonoma Valley Hospital. Sub-specialty cardiology includes advanced heart failure, electrophysiology, and structural and interventional cardiology and these specialist will see new patient consults in Sonoma.
