Sonoma Valley Hospital’s “Conversation With A Doctor” to Focus on Common Orthopedic Conditions and New Approaches
August 16, 2022Injuries to the shoulder, knee, and ankles, or lower back sciatica, tennis elbow, osteoarthritis of the major joints, can be debilitating and painful. They all come under the header of “common orthopedic conditions.” Those with these injuries and other orthopedic conditions are invited to attend Sonoma Valley Hospital’s upcoming talk “Conversation with a Doctor” with Orthopedic Surgeon Teodoro Nissen MD on September 9 at Vintage House in Sonoma.
Doctor Nissen will share his stories and “clinical pearls” on common orthopedic conditions. He will cover non-surgical approaches, prevention treatments, and new surgical procedures. Ample time will be provided to listen and address attendee questions.
The founder of Bay Area Orthopedics, with an office in Sonoma Valley, Dr. Teodoro Nissen completed medical studies at UCSF with honors and is a Fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in arthroscopic reconstruction of shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries. He also specializes in Sports Medicine and related injuries.
The talk will be held on Friday, September 9 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. There is no charge to attend, and participation may be either in-person (limited seating) at Vintage House or live-streamed (Zoom link will be provided).
