SVH Announces March Childbirth Preparation Classes

Sonoma Valley Hospital is offering its Childbirth Preparation classes in March. This series is designed to provide expecting mothers and their partner with information on labor and birth, relaxation techniques and pain relief options. Other topics include pregnancy wellness, lactation and breast feeding, and how partners can help during pregnancy.

The class is led by an experienced perinatal nurse from the Hospital’s birthing center, and is intended for women in their second or third trimester.

The series will be held Tuesday evenings on March 13, 20, 27, with the fourth and final class on April 10.  Classes are held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sonoma Valley Hospital, and there is a fee of $100. To register, call 707-935-5084.

Sonoma Valley Hospital has three private suites for labor, birthing and recovery, and five postpartum rooms, staffed by an experienced team of skilled obstetric nurses who provide personalized attention.
