SVH Offers Wellness University “Boot Camp” This Summer

June 7, 2017

Sonoma Valley Hospital has scheduled an intensive one-week “boot camp” of its popular Wellness University™ course in July. Sessions will run from 8:00 am to 10:30 am each day during the week of Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21. It is open to the community without cost, but attendance is limited so those interested are encouraged to sign up early.

Wellness University is a college-level course based on a curriculum developed for those interested in improving or maintaining good health, serving as a role model for healthy behaviors, and teaching wellness. Students completing the program graduate as Wellness Ambassadors.

Among the topics covered at Wellness University are: assessing your current state of emotional and physical health; finding balance in your life; stress reduction and relaxation techniques; importance of making positive choices; value of exercise and good nutrition; recommended breathing practices; and how to inspire others to better health.

Wellness University instructors include Kelly Mather, CEO; Leslie Lovejoy, Chief Quality Officer; and Steven Lewis, Wellness Coordinator.

To reserve a place or obtain more information, contact Vivian Woodall at vwoodall@sonomavalleyhospital.org or 707.935.5005. If you receive voicemail, please leave your name, phone and email address. If you plan to attend, please make sure you are available for all five classes.
